A healthy identity sets you up for a healthy sexuality and and a successful life in general. In today’s podcast we talk about what truths we are speaking into our children. Truths like:
- You are created in the image of God.
- God created us male and female.
- You are wonderfully made. God made no mistakes when he created you.
- You are a child of God and nothing will change that.
- You are unconditionally loved and nothing will change that.
- You are created for relationship. First with God and then family and friends.
- You are create for a specific purpose that only you can fulfill.
We also need to help them answer these three questions with the truth from the Bible. Who am I? Where do I belong? Why am I here? Our children need know how to let truth answer these questions and not their feelings.
